Every project is handled by a dedicated team of engineers holding significant experience. Right from production delivery, to storage and erection, the quantity of the materials is managed in accordance with the schedule as well as the requirement of a particular project.
In case of any discrepancy found during the execution of a given project, which may either harm any facet of the overall façade either temporarily or permanently, we take it upon us to intimidate our client about the same. In fact, depending on the gravity of the situation, we sometimes even stall the work in the given area, until the problem at hand is resolved satisfactorily.
Before the commencement of the fabrication work, the building is usually surveyed by the team of Green Façade to ensure whether the construction drawing is as per the actual site measurements. It is at this time that the overall scope of the work is decided and agreed upon.
The task at hand is often agreed upon in terms of phases or time-periods. These periods are often decided on the basis of availability of continuous access to work. All project related information is then shared with the stakeholders, in good faith, and is based on the available information at the given point in time. The final work only begins once the working drawings receive final approval.
It is the onus of the design department to undertake various stages of the process of design, right from the acceptance and review of the tender, to offering a system design along with a design proposal and structural calculation. Following this, the department gets the designs approved by the architect or the consultant in -charge and then goes ahead to raise the bulk MTO. It is however, only after the preparation of the technical drawing that the balance MTO is raised by the design department.
At Green Façade, all the material is fabricated in our own facilities under the fine supervision of our qualified managers. The entire process is divided into phases based on the agreed program, in order to be delivered at the site, right in time. All the materials are meticulously packed so as to avoid any damages during the transit, as well as on the site. The material is also marked, which makes it easier to identify its contents and location at the site of construction.
Usually, the cost of taping as well as lacquer coating to the aluminium surfaces that get exposed within the process is included in the rates.
On reception of a new project, our dedicated team studies and evaluates the same, and then formulates a task that is deputed to the site. Following this, the assigned engineer-in-charge, backed by a well-trained and experienced team ensures that the project is progressing smoothly, well within the stipulated time frame. Then, a bar chart is chalked out and is meticulously followed and the progress of each task is evaluated by the Director on a daily basis. In order to conduct seamless site operations, we often require a 5000 sq ft. storage area in close proximity to the site, preferably within 20 metres. This storage area needs to be covered and secure so that the material stored is not damaged. Moreover, the area must be capacitated to withstand the heavy load of the material.
We understand the importance of our materials, both in monetary terms as well as in terms of their value to your site. It is for this reason that we ensure that all aluminium components and products are perfectly secured with the help of a masking tape and/or soluble lacquer to preserve their fine quality. We further employ a strict site procedure so as to avoid any damage to the on-going work especially caused due to scaffold toe-backs, incomplete parts (kept in order to facilitate access to the site) etc. Moreover, we always make sure that no material falls onto the work site, especially where there is wet cement or plaster, and in case it does, that it is removed instantaneously. All debris, wet and dry is removed before the hardening of the materials, so that there is no need to use any scrapers or adhesive cleaners.
However, we cannot ensure complete protection of the material against any mechanical damage that might be caused due to other agencies working on site. Therefore, we cannot be held liable for any losses incurred or damages suffered due to deficiency in any of the functions other than our own.

It is for this reason that we ensure a close watch over the implementation of safety measures at every stage of the work process. The work is divided into sections, and after the completion of each of these sections it is handed over to the client after due inspection, for approval from the clients end.
In case, cleaning needs to be undertaken at a certain point in time, later in the contract but isnt acknowledged in the pricing, then we must be provided either with scaffolding or suitable access, free of charge.
We do not entertain any allowance for spares or replacement of any material, after the completion of the original contract and hence cannot be held liable for the same.
The warranty of the performance of materials, especially the likes of silicone is usually issued by their respective manufacturers, in accordance with the industry standards. This entitles the client for a 10 year warranty pertaining to the curtain walling system along with its installation. This warranty is valid against any discrepancy with respect to design, workmanship, material as well as functional performance. The warranty is inclusive of air tightness and water tightness of all the elements and components used.
